You know those people who are always busy? Meet the queen of busy: Monika Zamojska.
Mon is one of those people who always comes up with new ideas. I bet she has a big jar at home with all the ideas that yet need to be executed, because there aren’t enough hours in one day or strong enough coffee to keep her going.
One of her most successful projects is *WAG fest, of which the next one will be held this Sunday 20 November 10-3pm at Brixton Cycles. There will be inspirational speakers such as Kate Rawles, Laura Moss, Emily Chappell, and Harriet Pike.
Access will be a £3 donation, but no one will be turned away for lack of funds. Ride with Wolves will be there with a stall for all your reflective xmas presents. ^_^
To be fair Mon is an all round busy bee in the cycling industry. In the past few years she worked for several bike shops and landed at the winner of them all: co-op run Brixton Cycles, where she again does a lot of everything. Next to working in a bike-shop, she races (obvs on a bike), organises the above named *WAG nights and WAG fests for London Bike Kitchen, is co-founder of the reflective cycle friendly clothing brand House of Astbury and does talks about womenscycling and other aspects of the cycling industry.
All round busy, all round inspiring and empowering.
